AgEtal is an independent agricultural testing company that provides technical support and laboratory services to the seed and grain industries Australia wide.
The Challenge
AgEtal’s previous website had a massive amount of content ranging from technical processes, data, research and more, providing information about their services. Content on the former website was reams of information that wasn’t formatted optimally for users.
Growers looking to have their seed or grain tested had to download and print a request form PDF to send a physical copy with the sample. They wanted to simplify the process, making it easier for growers to engage their services.
The Solution
Redesigning the website, it was important to AgEtal to keep the body of information from the previous site, so the CoBright team used web elements like call outs, tool tips and tabs to organise content in a manageable format.
CoBright built an online request form for AgEtal’s new website. Rather than having to download and print a PDF to be submitted, growers can now fill the online form and post or deliver their sample to AgEtal. Making requests for analysis more streamlined.
The Outcome
AgEtal’s new website has a modernised design while containing all the information from the previous site in an accessible format, allowing users to navigate with ease.
The new online request form has streamlined the submission process while also increasing the turnaround time of test results. By working with AgEtal and understanding their business, CoBright was able to build a website with a fresh look without sacrificing content that was important to them.
