Journey Earth wanted to update their website with a comprehensive request form and interactive maps that allowed users to enquire directly with the business. manual processes.
The Challenge
Journey Earth received leads from international referral agencies and were reliant on these third-party recommendations for their business.
They were looking for a way to generate leads directly through the website to reduce their reliance on third party referral agencies, and needed help to implement a digital marketing strategy.
Journey Earth also needed a way to qualify leads coming in via their website to ensure web enquiries were from clients seeking high end, personalised service they offer.
The Solution
Working with Journey Earth, we designed a comprehensive online request form that allowed them to gather information to help qualify clients before responding to enquiries.
We identified that many inbound visitors were unfamiliar with the travel options and experiences available in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, so we designed an interactive map for each destination showcasing attractions. This helped clients develop and visualise their ideal itinerary.
To support their SEO and digital marketing efforts, we conducted keyword research and carefully chose page titles to ensure good organic traffic was being directed to their site. It was important for Journey Earth to measure the effectiveness of their marketing activities, so we established conversion goals in Google Analytics that allowed them to see which traffic sources were generating leads on their website.
This included automatic generation of a high-quality product brochure through information and photos available in the website listings; eliminating the need for Vater to create product brochures separately offline for each piece of equipment listed for sale.

Designing a comprehensive online request form has seen the quality of leads improve, so Journey Earth are spending time on enquiries more likely to lead to sales.
Journey Earth now has a website that matches their premium service and gives them the option to market directly without relying on other referral agencies.
With their new website, Journey Earth’s organic search is the leading driver of traffic to their site with 33% from the USA (where most of their clients come from).
